About us
Crafted by Heritage, Worn with Meaning.
Introduction
At Corgema, we believe that jewelry is more than just adornment. It is memory. It is lineage. It is identity. Born from the soil of India’s diverse craft traditions and shaped by today’s design sensibilities, Corgema stands for timeless expression — jewelry that moves with you, and stays with you.
Our Beginning
Where Craft Meets Curiosity
Corgema was born from a quiet conviction: that India’s handmade jewelry traditions shouldn’t be confined to vaults or vitrines — they deserve to be worn, every day.
After two years of travel and research across India’s gem corridors — from the enamel streets of Jaipur to the silver ateliers of Cuttack — our founder, Manish Balayan, envisioned Corgema as a platform to bridge generational artisanship with mindful modern living.
Our Makers
The Soul of Our Brand
Behind every piece at Corgema is a human story. We work closely with artisan families and clusters who practice age-old techniques — from Meenakari and Kundan setting to lost-wax casting and hand-beating metal.
By valuing their work as co-creators, not just suppliers, we’re not only sustaining craft — we’re evolving it.
Our Ethos
Crafted Slowly. Worn Freely.
- Rooted in craft: Every design begins with cultural research and traditional symbolism.
- Designed for today: Our pieces blend heritage with form, balance, and wearability.
- Small-batch production: We make intentionally — not in excess.
- On-demand flexibility: Some pieces evolve with you, through personalization and care.
- Sustainability in practice: We use ethically sourced materials and minimal-waste workflows.
Whether you wear Corgema for a wedding, a work day, or a quiet evening in — know that it carries a thread of tradition, spun into something new.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
